OSU Extension of Medina County and the Master Gardener Volunteers present the 4th annual MGV Spring Seminar. This year's theme is landscape design and modern twists.
Learn about breaking the mold of landscape design to take your garden from great to art! Learn about the newest varieties of annuals to really make your gardens pop!
Visit the rummage sale-style "Ye Olde Garden Shoppe" and purchase some gently used, repurposed or garden-themed items and tools (all proceeds support the OSU Phenology Garden in Medina) and get your copy of the book, "Garden-pedia: an A-Z guide to gardening terms," signed by author and educator Pam Bennett! Books can be pre-ordered with registration or bought at the event (limited quantities will be available).

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
PAM BENNETT
"Not Your Grandmother's Annuals" Join Pam on this fast-paced session that will help you reach your garden dream of no maintenance – well, almost no maintenance! Pam shares the results of her field trials in Clark County as well as the OSU Field Trials on campus. You will learn about some of the newest and easiest-to-maintain annuals we have to choose from today.
Pamela Bennett is the State Master Gardener volunteer coordinator for Ohio, and is the Horticulture Educator and Director for Ohio State University Extension in Clark County. She has a degree in landscape horticulture. Pam specializes in herbaceous ornamental plant trials and evaluates more than 200 varieties of annuals and two genera of ornamental grasses.
Pam writes a weekly gardening column for the Springfield News and Sun and the Dayton Daily News, & authors the bi-monthly Ask the Expert Column for Ohio Gardening magazine. Pam teaches in Ohio, nationally, and internationally on a variety of horticulture topics. She recently co-authored the award-winning book, GARDEN-PEDIA: an A-Z guide to gardening terms.
LAURA DEETER

Dr. Laura Deeter is actively teaching woody and herbaceous plant identification, outdoor gardening, perennial production and landscape design at the OSU Agricultural Technical Institute (ATI) in Wooster, Ohio.
She is a passionate powerhouse speaker you will not want to miss! She is an awarding-winning teacher with a passion for plants and teaching.
