    WORKSHOP 6: Crisis management Taught by Hennes Vice president and In-House Counsel Stepahnie York. WHAT IS GOVERNMENT ACADEMY? The Government Academy is a series of classes offered through the OSU Extension Medina County and Leadership Medina County for individuals interested in learning about the mechanics and philosophies that impact government action.     The farm transition workshop is offered on two consecutive Fridays, July 19 and 26 at the Secrest Arboretum Welcome Center located at 2122 Williams road, Wooster, near the OARDC campus.  The workshop will run from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm each day. The workshop is structured to help farm families develop a transition plan for the future, discover ways to increase family communication regarding farm transition, and learn strategies to sucessfully transfer management skills and the farm's business assets to the next generation.

     Annual Hydrangea School will take you on a tour of the many varieties of hydrangea, care, and selection.  Receive hydrangea with your registration!     Join OSU Extension and the OSU Master Gardener Volunteers for their Spring Children's Workshop where your child will experience the opportunity to play with their food!    They will pound away on plant parts to create a masterpiece while learning about the natural dyes that come from the plants we grow.  Children get crafty making cement leaves! The wet mess will highlight the shape and texture of common grocery store leafy greens, but dries into a unique work of art.

    Applying Introduction to Grant Writing skills and for new grant writers, members of the class will complete a grant application from beginning to end! Class 1: April 11, Using a grant request you have selected and un-der the guidance of the instructor, you will write the draft of the grant proposal.Class 2: April 25, Members of the class will critique each others work and finalize their grant proposal. The goal is for each member of the class to leave with a completed, ready to submit proposal.
