OSU extension is hosting its annual pesticide license renewal training.

TIME: Pesticide Recert 1:00 - 4:00 PM
Fertilizer Recert 4:00 - 5:00 PM
LOCATION: OSU Extension Office, 4046 Medina Rd., Medina, OH 44256 (corner of RT 18 and Foote Rd)
COST: $40 for Pesticide Recertification / $10 for Fertilizer Recertification ($50 for both)
Private Pesticide and/or Fertilizer License Holders whose license expires March 2026 are invited to attend this recertification training to earn their required credits to renew their license. Pesticide licenses require 3 hours of credit to renew. Fertilizer licenses require 1 hour of credit to renew. Pesticide recertification begins at 1:00 PM and includes Core and Categories 1-6.
Fertilizer recertification directly follows the pesticide portion of the training at 4:00 PM and fulfills the fertilizer recertification requirement for those who possess a fertilizer applicator license.
COST: $40 for Pesticide Recertification, $10 for Fertilizer Recertification.
Deadline to register is January 16, 2026. A late fee of $20 will be assessed for registrations received after the deadline.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember that you are paying two fees. ONE licensing fee to Ohio Department of Agriculture ($30). And ANOTHER to OSU to register for the recertification class ($40 and/or $10). Paying the ODA license fee does not automatically enroll you into the OSU recertification training. You must register for both separately to be properly registered and receive credits for your license.
