This workshop is designed to help farm families plan to transition the family farm to the next generation. Join this program to learn about transferring a business, farm assets and liabilities, splitting the farm, what to consider, the unexpected, retirement, trusts, estate planning and MORE. Looking to pass a farm down this year, 10 years? Come to this session to get prepared! Have you inherited a farm? Come to ask your questions!
Farm families are encouraged to attend. Having multiple people present will help you in having these challenging conversations and making decisions. It will benefit both generations to hear the ins-and-outs of transitioning a farm ownership and responsibilities.
We must have at least 15 people in attendance to hold the program. Spread the word!
