Master Gardener Volunteers are trained by OSU Extension specialists in Consumer Horticulture including: Botany, Soil and Compost, Insects, Pest Problems, Disease Diagnostics, Annual and Perennial Plants, Fruits, Veggies and more.
After training, would-be volunteers become interns and are required to complete 50 hours of approved volunteerism in the community before becoming CERTIFIED MASTER GARDENER VOLUNTEERS for Ohio State University Extension.
