Whether you’re dealing with algae, aquatic weeds, or nuisance wildlife or simply want to take better care of your pond, Medina’s Pond School offers practical solution from Ohio experts.

Ohio State Extension invites pond owners to attend Pond School on August 12, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Ohio State Extension Office at 4046 Medina Rd., Medina, OH 44256 at the corner of Foote Rd and Route 18.  Cost is $20.00 per person and includes take home resources. Deadline to register is August 10, 2026.

Topics include fish stocking and wildlife management, algae and pond weed control, and tips for healthy aquatic habitats.  In addition to the presentations, experts will be available to answer questions and discuss your personal pond situation.
