Service Sunday
Lorain, Summit, and Medina are having a canned food drive contest! Collect cans with your club to donate to Feeding Medina County. The county with the most donations wins! Donations can be dropped off to our office and counted any time during the 4-H week. You can also plan a community service event on your own and we will share pictures of it on our county Facebook page!
Memory Monday
Calling all 4-H alumni! Share a picture or memory on Facebook of your time in 4-H. You could share a camp photo, a quote from a leader that you still remember, your favorite project of all time, or anything that inspired you and made your time in 4-H special!
Talk to a Friend Tuesday
It is time to share your 4-H experience with someone you think might like to join! We know that in 4-H kids “learn by doing” and that members have fun while learning in a variety of ways from camp, to fair, to community service, to in-school programming, but not everyone else knows! You can help us change that by talking to a friend about why you joined 4-H and why they might want to also!
Wellness Wednesday
The 4th H is health, celebrate today by joining us for a FREE ZUMBA Class! This family-friendly program will be at 6:00 pm in the Medina Extension office. Please register by March 5th. You can also participate by checking out healthy living tips on our Facebook page, going for a jog, preparing a healthy meal, or practicing mindfulness! Did you know 4-H has healthy living projects? Projects like You’re the Athlete, First Aid in Action or Your Thoughts Matter will help you learn about building and maintaining health for a lifetime!
This is 4-H Thursday
This is Medina 4-H! 6 to 8 pm at A.I Root candle in Medina 623 W Liberty St, Medina, OH 44256. Time to learn about all the amazing projects and opportunities 4-H has to offer at our 4-H Open House. This will be the biggest enrollment event of the season! With representation from our pre-fair, livestock, and camping committees. Come to learn about a project you have never taken and bring a friend who might want to join!
4-H Fashion Friday
Show your 4-H pride by wearing your favorite 4-H branded apparel! Help us share the love even more by posting a photo of yourself on social media or sharing one with us to post!
